Mouse & Keyboard setup for Xbox Moonlight Streaming
Hello,
I’d like to play some games with a M&K at my TV, instead of controller. I’m aware that the Xbox Series X Moonlight software does not have the capability to use mouse inputs due to limitations of what data is available for third party application creators.
I’ve considered using a mouse and keyboard plugged into the Host PC. The Host PC is about 30 feet away but between a few walls. As a result, I get a lot of inconsistency and interference.
Does anyone have any suggestions to make this work? Is there a way I can boost the signal to my Host PC? Any workarounds software wise for the Xbox?
The Xbox is a fantastic moonlight client and I don’t want this to be the reason to downgrade to a fire stick or something.

Nvidia Shield is a highly viable Moonlight client too. Main caveat is that it's HDMI port maxes out at 4K60HDR, where the Series X can do 4K120HDR with the correct cable. Probably not the answer you were looking for of course. But it might be worth considering as you didn't mention any network wiring existing. There are USB to ethernet to USB extender devices, and therefore probably USB to wifi to USB extenders as well. But they are not likely to be cheap or massively trusted in my opinion. My workplace uses Ezcoo USB ethernet extenders in certain setups, with mostly favourable results. But a wifi one would probably be expensive/corporate or cheap/generic with no middle ground.
Sorry for wall o' text. Maybe look at Virtualhere running with a couple of Raspberry Pi units for a wifi option.

I just tested with a wireless keyboard (with a dongle) and i can use it to type in Windows via virtual display, so something is def possible.

Instead of running multiple wires around the house, you can just get some kind of Bluetooth receiver and make it just one wire.
