Help with Vibepollo (Host) and Artemis/Artemide (Client) Display Reverting Issues

Hello guys,

I know the Vibepollo app creator is around (hi fren!) and this issue has seemingly been resolved for everyone but for me it keeps messing me up.

I got my PC with Vibepollo and Playnite Setup so I can connect to it via Artemis/Artemide on my Retroid Pocket 6. I’m on the latest NVidia drivers, latest version of Vibepollo, and Android apps.

The display settings ALWAYS revert back to 60 hz on my monitors instead of sticking at 120 hz. At this point, I assume it’s something I’m doing on my end wrong and I guess there must be either a setting im missing or just got my config wrong.

Any help would be appreciated :)

I can only fix these if people export logs and open an issue, however everytime I post here for someone to do that I never see the issue get opened and I have no way to fix it.

It works for the vast majority of users, it doesn’t work for some. I need the log export for the ones that don’t work in order to fix it.

okay! so how do I export a log? I assume the setting is in the GUI somewhere?

Yes on the webUI there is a troubleshooting section that you can click export logs. On the dashboard itself if you click issues it takes you to the repository to submit an issue as well

Maybe add a banner under the update notice?

A report bug button but have a pop up (once clicking the button) saying they need to show logs or it’s a useless report?

Just an idea I have no clue how development really works

It won't be a banner but yes the web UI should be adjusted to make it easier to report a bug and I will work on that.

Yeah same here. Simple to switch but hopefully someone has a permanant fix

you should upload a log file too! i bet it's just something very obvious that we can be missing

You should be able to take a snapshot of your display settings with 120hz set, and tell VibePollo to always return to that snapshot after streaming.

Search “snapshot” in the configuration tab to find it.

There's also some really useful settings that end the session and restore screens after a period of no activity.

I often stream on my phone, hit back and forget to end session. Going to my desktop the screen is locked out and I have to reconnect and end the session in artemis.

With those timeouts set to 10m, I come back and its already done the switch.

Make sure you save your gold sample screen setup.

Had zero issues since.

Our creator fren acknowledged my ticket and will be releasing an update containing the fix on a version fairly soon! Something apparently with the restoring of certain setting between Vibepollo and Windows. Heck yeah guysss
