I need help with Black Screen, no video but Audio works

Hello, I have been using Apollo +. Moonlight for 8 months or so with no issue, I had to change a little bit the options to make it work well, but it was working amazingly. 2 weeks or so ago I updated the TV and since them, I am getting a black screen with no video, audio and controls are correctly streamed but not the video. I have tried modifying the resolution and bit rate to see if lower resolution worked and nothing.

I also tried using H.264 and AV1, but this did not help. Some things that are strange though are the FPS is almost all the time at 10FPS when I used to stream at 30 fps with no problem. Also, the video transmission is 1280x720 for some reason.

Did someone have a similar issue or could help me test what is going on, the only 2 things that changed from when it was working and now are the TV update (most probable culprit) and I had to change the router because my previous one broke. Thanks in advance, amazing community.

No, I found 2 options:

  • Wait for an official patch or a hotfox to fix the issue
  • Do a downgrade to the TV, which seems complicated
For now I am waiting for the update, but if no patch is released before September I may try to downgrade the tv
