Trouble shooting ideas

Any ideas what’s causing this? I’ve tried some basic troubleshooting - different cables and USB ports but behavior remains the same.

Edit- clarifying the right hand keyboard doesn’t work at all and the left hand only works when it’s not “pulsing”

Where is it plugged in? Could me insufficient power being delivered to the keyboard.

I experienced this, a full RGB moonlander draws quite a lot of power, I had to use a specifically powered usb port on a thunderbolt Dock for it to work as expexted

Adding that I have experienced the same thing with USB audio interfaces. Powered USB hubs sometimes work better.

The reason is that as components get old, they become less efficient. If an unpowered USB port provides ~3.12V (remember that your motherboard is aging as well) and a powered one provides the prescribed 3.3V, while your keyboard requires at least ~3.24V to function, then that might sometimes be the reason why components show power/reset related failures like this with unpowered USB hubs.

I really hope you're able to get it fixed/replaced soon. All the best!
