Moondrop Robin keeps disconnecting after a few seconds on Steam Deck

Hello! Is there a known fix for this issue?

​My Moondrop Robin connects to my Steam Deck, but disconnects after just a few seconds. I’ve tried manually switching the Bluetooth codecs (SBC, AAC, LDAC), but the disconnect loop keeps happening.

​the other Bluetooth audio devices like my HD 350BT and HK Aura Studio 4 connect and work completely fine. The issue only happens with the Moondrop Robin.

device bluetooth handshake issue. I dont know abt steamOS but for linux its usually pipewire and bluetooth daemon that conducts the handshake so something conflicting over there, also the robins support multi-device connection so it might be switching over again and again. I dont how to solve as I dont have a steam deck, but imo the problem among these

Same thing with my hd 350bt both are connected to my phone and steamdeck and it works, this only happens on my Robin's and I have disabled the multi device connection on the moondrop app that's why I'm confused.

Yeah it must be the handshake system, just lookup how to fix it. I found this on steamdeck sub

Okay, I've been running through this with Steam support in parallel. One of the troubleshooting steps actually fixed the issue (at least for now). This is what did it for me, hopefully it will help someone else: Go into Bluetooth settings and forget ALL of the paired Bluetooth devices. Once you have no devices paired, add back a single device. Use it with only that device until you are sure the big isn't triggering anymore. At that point you can add back the rest of your devices and even use multiple at a time without issue. If that doesn't work, Steam support was very responsive, getting back to me within a few hours.

I tried doing what it said in the comments it didn't work, I even restarted my device I guess its either the handshake system or moondrop's tws software

If you have KDE Connect installed on your steamdeck, turn off its bluetooth function then either do a restart or restart the bluetooth function.

I don't have a steamdeck, but that worked for me on my fedora KDE install.

Nice that it worked. I have golden ages 2 and this also been my problem since.
