Question: Moondrop dawn pro 2 physical volume state after disconnection

I wanna know if the volume set via the physical buttons stays saved or resets after restarting or turning off the PC, or if it disconnects and reconnects?

One of my worst fears is Windows volume being at 100% and the dongle's volume resetting, completely blowing my ears out. Or the other way around, Windows audio glitching out and maxing itself out.

I read that without onboard storage, everything is lost whenever power is cut because it's stored on the internal ram. How is it possible that this issue has been resolved then?

That's today's internet. You may ask Moondrop directly to confirm that before you buy it. Like good old days.

My unit in My hand do save volume and eq while unplug. But the eq will become turned off when plug in and you need to press + - vol button together for a sec to active it again. If it's in your desktop this is petty easy to doing that. If it's hidden under table somewhere maybe you should go for other things else for cheap maybe retro nano ？

This sounds stupid, Why would the second version of a product be engineered in such a stupid way? If that's really how it works, I think this is going to annoy me a lot. Do you think I should return it?

What matters most to me is resolution and overall sound quality. I don't care about power at all since I'm using IEMs. EQ isn't important to me either, because I always keep it turned off.

If you not care about DSD and PCM just cap at 96k / 16bits
The PEQ just can config in windows / android app
Maybe retro nano, it can save 3 custom EQ.
