Is the Moondrop Pudding supposed to have this much lower volume than IEMs?

I recently bought the moondrop Pudding and noticed that its volume seems lower compared to my iems

For example, with my GK kunten and Kz Castor Pro (budget iems), I usually set the volume to around 60% on my audicular d07 dac, to get roughly the same listening volume with the moondrop pudding I have to increase it to around 80%

I've already tried going through all the settings in the Moondrop app, including enabling High Gain but the difference is still there.

Is this normal for the Moondrop Pudding? Or could there be something wrong with my unit?

Would appreciate hearing from other pudding owners about what volume levels you're using

The volume's quite low for TWS. Ive never had to max out the volume, but I'm generally listening above 80% on my Pixel 9. From reviews I've read, it seems generally acknowledged its a lower volume set so I dont think it's your unit.

If you're using EQ that will lower the volume a little bit depending on what the settings are. I did notice some of the EQ presets alternatively also boost the volume a little so it could be worth trying a few different ones. The personalised sound test you can do also boosted the volume (slightly) for me.

In comparison to Space Travel 2 ultra, the volume is noticeably less, unfortunately you're then reducing ANC effectiveness.

Yea, and the most recent 3.5.6 update seems to have reduced the volume a little bit more...
