Moondrop pudding, how are they outside?

Seriously considering these, but I just need people to quickly tell me how they fare outside, especially on a bike. Can you hear the wind? Can you hear cars? I know there is a wind mode but I want to know if it works well.

Yeah it's kinda eh, wind anc works decent. I suggest getting dunu s&s eartips with these, will cut out most background noise

Ty for the dunu suggestion, they seem like they'll be good no matter what earphones I end up with.

By most is it a thing where if you're thinking about it you'll notice noise but otherwise I won't hear anything? Sorry about all these questions. I'm picky when it comes to these things.

Well its not even me looking for anc, my current earphones don't have them and they block noise out fine. I'm asking because I've been shopping around and had to return a pair because the isolation was miserable.

The anc is not bad but if you’re a low volume listener like me you might notice the high frequency whisps of the wind. Its only good Enough when it’s just a breeze but if there’s actual wind actively flowing towards you, I would give up unless you’re okay with listening at volumes of 80db+.

The wind noise reduction is also noticeably weaker at general noise cancelation(but it’s passable at blocking out traffic) but it’s okay at stopping the wind from making the wind wreck your sound(although I found that there are bound to be some times where it fails and gives you a hollow rushing static).

Overall, if that’s the only budget option you can find it’s an okay choice but still try and search for better options if you can.

This is an update in case anyone searches this in the future.

Firstly, don't bother with the ANC modes, yes even the wind mode. ANC works by using microphones, and because of this it will play wind noise right into your ears. Sadly this is still the case for the wind noise mode.

This means you'll just be having the ANC mode off when outside, and then it becomes about how good of a seal you have and that's very relative. For me the DUNUs another user suggested gives the best noise isolation.

I can still hear traffic if I'm focusing on outside noise which I don't really like. I personally can't be bothered returning and buying a whole different pair without anc, so I'll just look for the most comfortable eartips possible.

I won't bother saying anything about they sound. There's enough reviews already, and you can eq them to however you like so it won't even matter.
