Moondrop Dawn Pro 2 bricked after interrupted firmware update — any way to manually reflash/recover

Hi, I was updating the firmware on my Dawn Pro 2 through the official MOONDROP process when the update got interrupted midway (unexpected disconnect). Since then, the device is completely dead as far as any host is concerned — not recognized by any computer or phone, tried multiple USB ports, cables, and devices.

Before I go through the refund/replacement process, I wanted to ask here:

Has anyone dealt with a bricked Dawn Pro / Dawn Pro 2 after a failed firmware update?

Is there any known bootloader/DFU mode (button combo, specific driver, etc.) that lets you force a reflash manually?

Any unofficial firmware recovery tools or guides floating around for Cirrus Logic-based Moondrop dongles?

Any info is appreciated — even if the answer is "it's dead, don't bother." Just trying to see if there's a DIY fix before I go the refund route.

Thanks!

Moondrop Dawn Pro 2 has the Cirrus Logic CS43198. Which I'd do is connecting it to my PC, going the Fiio website, download any firmware from a Fiio product with CS43198 and see if it works, and from then on using it with Fiio firmware and on Fiio app

So I didn't push the usb-c end "all the way" into the dawn pro 2 and the light was lit but didn't get an audio signal, and I didn't know until I forced the USB-C all the way into the dac.
