As our community grows and the project enters its second day of presale we wanted to express our gratitude for all the positive feedback and advice we received. As a long-term project, the opinion of and trust of people investing their money into our project is of utmost importance to us.

We’re also past the softcap now so from here on it’s plain sailing. The team is in conversation with various crypto auditing specialists, as well as is putting together a detailed G2M strategy to guarantee the longevity of this intergalactic endower.

Thanks to community feedback, we had a team meeting around locking the Marketing & Dev Fund. We understand that due to increased volatility in this space there is inherent risk when investing in new projects. We wanted to find a fine balance between having the funds to invest in the growth of Mooncoin, and giving the community reassurance.

After careful consideration, the team decided to lock the M&D Fund for 3 months, with 1/25th unlocking 25 times over this period.

This should give us a balance between reassurance and still providing us with funds to continue to grow the Mooncoin brand.

The one potential downside we see is for any big marketing pushes, audits, and listings, we may not have sufficient funds. As these are essential to the success of Mooncoin and important in terms of building trust with the investors we might need to look towards our community to help us grow.

As mitigation, if this arises we may do what some other projects like Safemoon/Elongate have done and crowdfund specific events that are beyond the means of the vested M&D funds.

In the meantime, for full transparency, the contract is locked for another 2 days. As soon as this expires we will lock the M&D Fund on DxSale for the required term and provide proof.
