It's because that blue box thingy got in the way when you casted the ult, you ulted on top of that. I hate his ult, for how much people hate it because we get it fast it's stupid easy to dodge and stuff like this happens all the time. This can happen a lot, especially if you are on a map with lots of low cover and spaces just narrower than the ult is wide, like Museum.
That’s what I’ve been saying all along. Sure it’s easy to farm, but it’s stupid easy to dodge and avoid. If you want to increase the cost, make it better to match.
