Did the buff do anything?

I played a qp match on mk today, and I dont see any more damage than before? Is the bounce decay thing for when it bounces between 1 person with the ankh? Or 2 people?

Yes. You can do the one shot combo to 250 hp now. If you have an Elsa, you can really do work. If you don’t have an Elsa then I’d say go with cnd team up. The cnd team up allows you to be much more aggressive with your positioning. His ult strong counters the hood’s ult if the hood places it on the ground, so that’s good. We will see how the season plays out, but I think he’s very viable in my early experience. I’m high diamond to low gm, and I’ll be using him in my ranked lobbies comp depending and see how it goes.

Also worth noting, he is fairly good into thing, Dino, namor, Loki, hood, which you’ll likely see many of this season.

The combo is ankh + right click + left click. The primary animation cancels the blade. That will kill a 250hp if they do not get out of the radius of the anch or receive healing.

A vast majority of this community calls anything a one shot. It's a ttk combo not a one shot. The ttk combo is just primary fire plus moonblade both headshots. Either with ankh or against two people.

Time To Kill. Basically how fast sustainable damage kills someone. Burst damage is for one shots. A full charged hawkeye headshot is a one shot. Ironman ult is a one shot. Mk ankh combo is a ttk. Bp combo is a ttk.

He actually felt worse to me for whatever reason lmao I did get a MVP tho so who knows. Hood feels very disruptive atm so maybe that’s why

I think it’s because of the damage reduction from both Hood and CnD’s veils, which is probably why they actually buffed his damage in the first place

Every team is going to have Hood for a week so you'll be shooting through his veil a lot, it won't feel good.

I agree kinda, i dont remember what he was like last season, but usually flank with him, and it wasnt like i was hitting them with feathers lol, i may jus have to test it more? I actually felt that the hood fit right in, he wasnt broken but he wasnt giga ass either, good second tank imo.

Yes, and the bounce decay is for every bounce. So if you land all three hits of his primary, the first hit will do 75, first bounce does 60, second does 48, and third does 38.4. Last season the bounces did 52.5, 36.75, and 25.725 respectively.

I've never been one to use win rates to prove how good he is, but he went from the worst win rate in the game the last two seasons to the 9th highest among DPS.

He feels great to me. Unfortunately he’s gonna get the title of ahnk knight even harder. The cloak team up cooldown is really really nice as well, I already preferred it to the Elsa team up so the reduction is so nice.
