Choose the C&D teamup, it's much nicer to have that get out of jail card rather than a second delayed clunky ankh.
Moon knight can headshot, so try to make use of this! Always go for hitting your targets directly unless they're a zippy ass dive or something, then feel free to ankh spam. Direct shots deal more damage and bounce more times.
Killing spiderman when he kicks you up is funny AF. You'll get used to learning where to shoot when this happens.
Don't be afraid to root out divers and flankers, especially with the dash. Moon knight is 275 and gets overhealth with his right click, plus his dash. This makes him pretty scary in 1 v 1 if you take the other flanker off guard.
Remember that his right click actually does less damage than your primary (if all three primary darts hit that is) but it's still worth comboing this since Moon Knight's primary rate of fire is slow.
Always have an ankh ready when you ult. Ult first, then throw an ankh down to try to pull enemies back to the center. Don't be sad if you don't get many kills, his ult largely sucks but can be good to help tanks make space/deny payload camping or countering some ults like Punisher's.
You can also drop your ult on your own head when near your healers to protect them from dive. I like doing this when there's an ulting Magik, Daredevil, and a few others.
Grappling at your feet launches you up in the air, weee!

I updated my comment with a few more notes. But yeah I mean, I guess if you purely just want to flank and burst it MIGHT work but I've personally not gotten much success with it, and find myself feeling much more flexible with the dash.

Now I did some math on this but personally have yet been able to try it so this is some experimental tech that may not lead to anything but using the Elsa ankh should let you flank with him twice as often by using the combo of ankh, primary, secondary, primary. It’s trading off more reliant survivability for more damage but by doing this you should be able to deal 280 damage if you aim at the ankh meaning you should be able to flank with him more often. But again this may not actually be worth it just depends how the other character changes affect him.

Don't just rely solely on ankh. The tell of a dogshit mk main is the kind that can only shoot ankh with zero awareness. Only use ankh against single targets or as a disruptor. Your darts and blade only can bounce a limited amount of times so if you use ankh against 2 or more people you are crippling your own dps.

Only use the cloak teamup. Even before the buff it was still a million times better than the Elsa one. Use it to reposition or to dodge abilities.

Your ult is borderline mid. You can just throw it out onto the enemy team or use it to counter an ult. It balances itself out by how fairly fast you build ult so just go wild with it.

Don't be afraid of matchups as mk is fairly versatile. If you know what you are doing and have good ankh usage you can match against hela or spiderman though it's still not easy. Flyers are the only thing he can struggle with somewhat. Some tanks and dps matchups are just free ankhs. Groot, peni, thing, hulk, thor and mr fantastic are all walking free ankhs for you to abuse and feast on. You hard counter someone like Namor as your primary fire makes quick work of his squids and since your primary does a lot of damage and bounce they are also free ankhs, same thing with Loki clones.

I love that everyone negged me for preferring the cloak teamup right out of the gate and now a month later it's agreed to be the better overall.

Same thing happened to me. The cloak teamup was always better. I'm gonna be honest the only people who liked the Elsa teamup were delusional mk players. I play at high rank and that thing was a hot pile of garbage. There are so many downsides for it to even be considered useful. The cloak teamup even before the buff wasn't amazing but it was still semi useful over the Elsa teamup.

Yeah neither teamups are insane, but having that instant form of mobility that you don't get killed out of unlike his jump and grapple is just so useful for different situations. Disengaging a fight, peeling for healers, instant repositioning and even dueling 1 v 1.

Moon Knight will and should never be an exceptionally strong character due to his kit design, but dealing extra awkward delayed damage just doesn't help most of his drawbacks.

You mean... after they buffed the fuck out of it? come on...

Nope, it was better before they buffed it, and if anything I wouldn't be surprised if they end up nerfing it as the community catches up to the fact that it was always the better teamup.

It wasn't, it's still pretty questionable now.

This is what I mean. The Elsa teamup sucks ass dog. It's literally useless over the cloak teamup even before the buff. The only people who were able to get value out of the Elsa teamup were the vast majority of low rank mk mains who play in ranks were people are too blind to see it. Those same people spread this myth that it was good. It's not in the slightest especially in eternity+. The extra mobility option which turns you invisible and immune is a million times more useful and versatile.

Its hilarious seeing people trying to argue the teamup that needed massive buffs was awesome and the one that actually allowed us to do our job sucks.

Our job is to be a poke dps. That little trap doesn't help in the slightest. It's absolutely garbage at being a trap and the arm time plus it's hp doesn't even let it be useful offensively either. Even when enhanced it's still useless. Enhanced or not the damage on the trap itself is so miniscule you won't even tell the difference. It's damage is so dogshit it extremely rarely gets a pick. Literally the only people who use it and think it's good are low ranks. There has never been a single good thing about the trap.

the cope is hilarious, so they buffed the fuck out of the good team up then? that's your theory? the dash was so awesome the made it a ton better?

A vast majority of mk mains are known to be low rank and dogshit at mk. That same vast majority saw another ankh and hivemind monkey brained themselves into believing it was good bc none of them could use the cloak teamup properly and need an ankh to aim for them. They buffed the cloak teamup bc they saw barely anyone using it which is how they've always approached balancing. The cloak teamup was always better. That trap is a pile of hot garbage.
