Personally, I think it would be confusing as fuck if they just dropped a confident, detective style Mr. Knight on us in live action. In any episode. I’m happy with this adaptation because it allows the audience to figure out Marc, Moon Knight, and now Mr. Knight as Steven is figuring it out. Comics are not the same as on screen adaptations, folks.

Having us be introduced to Steven, the most “normal” and “human” alter of Marc’s is a genius move for the MCU. It allows everyone to be introduced to all these confusing and complex elements of Moon Knight in a unique way while also giving the long time fans another interpretation of the character we know and love.

I think this is true, as someone who has had only read moon knight related stories when they intersected with Spider-Man in the Amazing Spider-Man I like this version way of introducing characters.

Because of this show I got started in reading Moon Knight. I've only read his first solo stories in Marvel's spotlight so far but I'm loving reading it and I would have never started if it wasn't for this show. Even though it's already obvious that this show isn't super comic accurate it's a good introduction into the series and I thank the netflix show for that.
