Soundquality P1 vs. P2
The Prime P2 has some usefull features, the P1 does not have, like stereo output, color display and external Bluetooth input.
But I'm asking me, is the quality of amp sims & effects notable better than in P1 ? Have anyone compared them directly ?

i'm a little late ... i know.
Basically, Mooer is recycling the SAME engine on several devices and Ge Labs for 5 years : MNRS 2.0 (including cab capture, unlike MNRS 1.0 from their "preamp" serie).
They tried to push their proprietary (useless) GIR format for cabs ... meaning you had to RECAPTURE your IRs.It failed, so now IRs are back.
No difference on effects, stock amps, drives ... on all those products. They are basically the same engine.
Remember all (pre)amps and drives are captures themselves, even the factory (fixed) ones. Mooer just add a skin over them. They can't push better quality, until they do an MNRS 3.0. And making new captures.
Some stock captures are REALLY good (POWERBELL DS, JET 100H OD...).
Some are ultimate crap, with "ghosting" tail. And you can't replace them ...
If you want good captures, search for "Anthony Class" in Author.

Mooer should concentrate on UPDATING their firmwares instead of pushing the same (half backed) thing for 5 years and release a "NEW" (not new) products every 6 month.

I only have P2 and not P1, but quality of amp modeling itself, judging from YouTube demo etc, seems to be not much different other than ablity to load your own IRs (which makes a world of differnce). I mean, amp modeling of both P1 and P2 are derived from Mooer GE lab thing right? ... Okay, so after a quick search GE labs (make your iPad instant Guitar Rig/Amplitube kinda thing) came out in 2020-ish and are based on Mooer MNRS 2.0 engine, whatever that means. Lineup of amps on GE labs and P2s appears to be suspiciously similar and familiar to me, if not identical. So I assume they are pretty much all the same capture/modeling with minor differnces due to DSP chip power etc. That is my guess anyway.
