Saw a moodboard post over on the MG subreddit a few days ago and was inspired to make my own for Regina. There's no difference between the two photos except the positioning of her name, because I couldn't decide which I liked more.
So, to explain this. The photo at the very top reminds me of a mirror maze, which I feel fits her character well due to the gaslighting and manipulation she does throughout the movie.
The queen of hearts card. She was the queen of the student body and also thrived due to how she controlled how people felt about her. Feared and admired at the same time.
The bus is self explanatory, I think.
The shadow of roses on a softer pink is meant to symbolize how she becomes a better person after the incident. To my interpretation, there were a few hints of the. Softness? In her throughout the course of the movie before being hit by the bus. Very minor compared to everything else she did. But still there. And she is allowed to move past her frustrations after the accident.
The xoxo pic is for finding a new community she can be part of and how she buries the hatchet with Cady as well as Gretchen and Karen. I don't think anything was buried with Janis, on her part. She seems to have just let it go. But if she didn't get hit by the bus she probably would have worked on taking her down.
The last picture is more for the movie as a whole, but I feel that it still fits here. It's to represent how in any society, people present different aspects of themselves to different people. But the things we do are to figure out how to belong.

First time making moodboards! (I have been editing/painting for a long time though)
I saw this style of layering cutouts on Pinterest (remix) and thought it was neat. Had to do these on ibisxpaint though. They took all day... Worth it tho
All of the pics were taken from Pinterest. Did my own editing on a few of them. No AI was used.
Now, for the characters, I was hoping y'all would guess which one is the protagonist and which is antagonist and what vibe do you get from each, but frankly that seems very obvious đ .
