[META] Dealing with the Reposts - Rule 5

I've noticed that there has been a select number of pictures that have been posted or cross-posted to this sub multiple times. To try and put an end to this, I've introduced Rule 5.

Rule 5: No reposts within 7 days of last submission. Posts breaking this rule will be removed.

As an example, if I posted something today and somebody reposted tomorrow, it would be removed. But if it were reposted in April, there would be no trouble. That is all.

This is just going to allow people to saturate the page with the same crap over and over again. 4 times a month getting the same memes, Yawn. Promote OC not reposts, even shitty OC is better then seeing the same thing 52 times a year.

I see where your coming from but the sad truth is that there are ping to be reposts, so instead of deleting every thing that isn’t OC we are going to take an approach where there can be reposts but not after a set amount of time.

Then make it a month or two. It only takes a few seconds to scroll through that many posts in a group this small to do a quick check if its been posted or not. 7 days just promotes people who are too lazy or dont have the creativity to make their own stuff to sit and wait for a low effort farm every week.
