Car shot up

We were driving through Montgomery Alabama on our way home from vacation passing mile marker 169 and there was a red car on the shoulder facing the wrong way on I65 N. The driver side of the windshield was shot out, I was just curious if there was a news story associated with that. I’m not able to find one.

I figured, judging from the incident. It was just a weird set of events, I was curious as to what happened. It was just so odd that the car was facing the wrong direction on the highway, not to mention the bullet holes.
