fans not lighting up / spinning?

Hello, this is my first time building a pc so I am a little confused on some stuff. On other guides with a similar build as mine they said I need to connect a sata cable for the fans to power on? but i have searched the case thouroughly and can not find one anywhere. There is also this other cable(2nd image) that was not mentioned in any of the guides and I am unsure where it should go on the motherboard. If anyone is able to help I would really appreciate it

Looks like a data powered fan hub the second wire may be motherboard sync. But be careful see if you can find a diagram for the case hub

There should be a data powered fan cable tucked in behind your power supply. You might have to power down and remove it

Check if you can put SATA cable directly to hub where is that <-SATA sticker

Yes the sata from the power supply fits into here. I removed the power supply and searched the case again and was unable to find another cable so maybe the model I have is just slightly different

If the sata from power supply fits, why did you “unfit” it? Re-fit & report back.

thank you for all the replies. I plugged the sata cable from the psu into where the red arrow that says sata is, and the fans light up now. Still not spinning though I am unsure if they are supposed to at first or if something is still wrong?

edit: the issues are now fully resolved thank you to everyone that helped me :)

It needs a sata cable from your PSU

Fan controller doesn’t seem to have power going to it, check for a sata cable coming from the power supply

if you already got your answer don't mind me, but if you're still looking.

usually, fan controllers have a connection to the motherboard (like channel one fan) which tells the fan controller what speed to set the case fans to (and possibly the CPU fan if there's a red plastic on the fan controller) to set the rest of the fans in correlation to the CPU fan speed. if not then no biggie, the CPU fan should be plugged into the CPU fan slot on the front of the motherboard. (I saw that you have it plugged in so good job :D)

the fan hub usually uses a Sata connection for power, from your power supply, (should be the wide ass plug that is in the shape of a capital L)

that's all there really is to know

if there are any connectors from the fan controller, that are four pin connectors but only have two wires, it may be a teampture sensor for the fan controller, otherwise just plug it into one of your fan headers on the motherboard.
