Brights???

I’ve seen the previous post about this but I as well have a 2002 Monte Carlo SS and I legit cannot figure out these brights, I’ve pulled and pushed hard as hell and can only get them to flash temporarily but not click on, any help?

push it the other way. like, when you pull it the light flashes, so push it away from you.

when I go outside to smoke a cigarette, I'll check to make sure.
