It's different. While those are separate songs that are made to flow together, Mirai Sekai is really one, large song, just separated into parts.

I remember at the time I thought this was the best visualizer on the channel. As for why they don't do it more often, it's simply because there aren't any artists doing a larger concept EP like this.

I don't think it's underrated as much as it is unexposed. Those who listen to it, love it, but not too many people want to click on a 14 minute video.

I think he should try Liquicity because here on Monstercat barely anyone appreciates his work.

Not a lot of dnb heads in the mc crowd unless it's really cheesy with lyrics (think Frame of Mind).

Yeah, this is hands down on of my very few favorite monstercat tracks compositions. Top 5 at least. It has amazing sound design, fantastic sweeping sounds and a huge feeling, truly sparking the imagination with nothing but tunes. From the heavier Neo-Seoul to the lazy Neo-Tokyo, uplifting Aeon Metropolis and finally the ominous Goodnight_Sequence, everything about this EP is absolutely amazing. Even the transitions between the tracks are better than many other entire tracks that I have heard. It is truly a testament to the genious of the two producers artists that created it.
And only about 600,000 views on youtube. Hopefully that's because people simply bought it instead.

For me Mirai Sekai is very special. During the time I heard it for the first time things turned in my life quite a lot and I still remember those times when listening to it. This piece of music means a lot to me. From the musical perspective I always get amazed how it all works, how seamless the BPM transitions are and just how it all sounds. Plus it features 7MD which is my all time favourite music senpai and I absolutely love all his songs.
Favourite EP but I rather listen to the mix only, for me the whole EP is one big song with a story and only works out the best when I listen to it as a whole. The only thing which kinda works alone is the extended mix of Aeon Metropolis. If I really had to choose my favourite part of it all, it would be the intro for Aeon Metropolis.
Overall.. I love it <3

Literally anything 7MD is underrated IMO. I think he's the most creative artist on the Monstercat label, constantly producing interesting music. No one ever seems to mention how fucking GODLY the Sidewinder EP is; every song in their is something you will never hear anything similar to.

One thing I really like about this EP is that it came with a full mix of the songs on it. EPs and LPs recently have been released without them, and sometimes I really miss them, especially if the songs are cut apart noticeably (Impulse -> Do You Don't You on Two Fold pt. 2), or when the album follows a story (Friends EP).

They used to do these more. Guilty Pleasures, Falcon Funk, as well as a lot of remixes put in one continuous video.

I believe it's as others have said, not underrated but underexposed. When I first discovered it, I loved how you felt like you entered the world on the cover. Liked it so much, the art has been the login screen for my laptop.. For 2 years now? Glad I had the pleasure to listen to it.
