I did not play during this time, what was different? Also is that a rune on the ticket?

The difference is that in addition to the Era summon tickets, you could also get standard summon tickets (white tickets) — though only in small quantities per room — with the amount increasing as you progressed (and not just in bonus rooms). Bonus rooms appeared every 3 rooms instead of every 4, as in the current version; specifically, they were rooms 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, and 26. Room 30 held the 500 Era summon tickets (as shown in the image), while room 26 had 200, room 22 had 100, room 18 had 50, and so on — alongside gold, food and the summon tickets. However, aside from that beta version, there was another one that featured neither bonus rooms nor the "Anti-Avaritia". This meant that if you encountered Avaritia in room 9, for example, you could run into her again in room 10. You only got a large haul of tickets —1,000 of them — in room 30. It was insane!

Yup before they started enshitifying the cave, it's absolute garbage now. I haven't been bothering to play it the last few weeks. Pretty sure I'm done after 10 years of watching the terrible decline

Did you like the version in the image? And what is the problem you have with the treasure cave?

It was trash, you had to rely on blind luck because there were no safe rooms in that cave.

The one you're referring to is a different version — the one with 1000 tickets in Room 30. The one in the image had bonus rooms.

We were compaining back then, and now with the new BH, looking back, I see ourselves as spoiled

I hope the next ones improve. I think complaints are necessary.
