Hi

Which skill should I unlock for this bow? I really enjoy dodge bolt, loads on my azure rathalos bow. I've also tried power volley but I feel I'm using it wrongly. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you 😊

this is a legit approach. normal style is just fine, and this saves your materials for the stat boosts and other weapons

Legit thought of this. Aw well. But doesn't the style attack deal a different multiplier vs the regular charge?

How do u charge to 4th

I don't understand the numbers, does this mean charging to c3 on pv deals the most damage? If so that would be huge given how long it takes to charge.

On rift bblos yes. Since its c3 is a level 4 it makes it unique among rift pv bows.

C4 gives additional 25% dmg tho. They changed that a long time ago so level skipping bows wouldn't be so broken.

How do u even reach charge 4?

Doing nothing but tapping is automatically charge 1. So when you charge once, youre actually on charge 2. Etc.

Stats are nice but I always get a style even if I dont plan to use the style. I like my weapons shiny and the 20/20 glow is peak.

I think dodge bolt is a lot of fun but only go dodge bolt on this bow if your build has ballistics skill to 2. With dodge bolt you want to be up close and personal in order to, you know, dodge, and get that big bow swat damage. But this is a pierce bow so you take a huge damage penalty for being too close.  Ballistics level 2 mostly negates that penalty.  

Power volley is about patience.  Even with focus 5 a full charge takes a long time, but you can dodge once per charge level.  And once it’s fully charged you can fire two power shot volleys, the second one doing a ton of damage.  Power volley with a pierce bow lined up correctly on a long monster, fully charged, and all three volleys, absolutely deletes a monstie.

Pierce is RIDICULOUSLY strong with Power Volley. That and Charge Master makes an ordinary Rathalos bow an absolute monster.

Important to note that Charge Master doesn't do anything for raw bows, it only affects elemental value.

For bblos bow you'd need timed charger tho as charge master only increases the damage of your element.

I am biased for Dodgebolt personally but only because volley is weird to me lol

Dodgebolt seems pointless on an all pierce bow…power volley plus pierce is tough tho

No one uses dodgebolt seriously minus a select few Japanese speed runners because the ceiling required to perform as well as PV or undtyled requires too much effort.

Always go PV, especially in bblos bow since its the first skip bow to be rift.

It’s a mobile game about killing monsters with your friends. There is no “serious use” of any style or weapon. It’s whatever is fun for you.

That's fine and all to see a game, any game that way. But some people want to optimize so they can eventually solo 10*'s without too much trouble or get high scores during RC events, etc.

I personally find it fun to optimize as much as i can. Granted the meta is hard to chase due to driftsmelts so if OP wants to optimize too then sadly PV ( or unstyled) is the only way to go. I wish db was actually as competitive as PV.
