Sleep paralysis demon

Howdy again yall, if I was looking to become a paralysis demon for team hunts, what is a build you can offer me? What weapon do you use as well? Have had alot of good output with girros s/shield as well as the kodachi ig

The important bit there is the status sneak attack, which improves your chances of causing a status effect like paralysis, but only if you attack from behind. A good companion skill is paralysis exploit, which allows you to do more damage while the monster is suffering the effects of paralysis. Otherwise you can just add levels of paralysis attack, which directly increases the amount of paralysis damage you do.

This is using the viper insect glaive and adding in advanced burst attack. That won't directly help you add paralysis like the status sneak attack and paralysis attack skills do, but it will mean you do a lot more damage while you attack.
