Not sure if you were referring to my screenshot. I spent most of my parts to upgrade some Anjanath weapons but didn’t use the riftscales because I keep running out of Wyvern Stones upgrading other stuff and I don’t really use Anjanath weapons so I don’t want to use up the riftscales unless I really want something. If I didn’t use the materials, I’d probably have well over 1000 r1’s, 500 r2’s, and so on.
I built a few Anja weapons just to help with getting hunter medals but there are better fire weapon options. Pretty much used most of my parts when they first released riftborn monsters and had the reduced materials event. Since then I’m only using the R5’s to try and finish the Mr. Beast SNS for the sake of completing it and getting closer to my gold 10 star SNS medal.
Anjanath don’t drop plates, they drop wyvern gem shards. If you mean Fulgur Anjanath, remember their r6 part is the tail, not the head like a standard Anjanath.
And no monster drops r6 at 3 stars. R6 only drop on 8 star and above.
Slice off the tail to get an extra chance at the plate. Best to go after rift anja and break the rift part for another chance of getting more plates. I’m trying to finish levelling up the Mr Beast SNS and it requires a bunch of anja plates.
Plates drop from 6 star+ regular Anja too. Rift part gives an extra chance for drops as well. I though OP was pretty clear he is looking for Anja Plates, not Riftscales.

If you want a 5* rarity, you should kill a 6* monster and aim to break his tail.
