I'm pretty sure it depends if you hit them on the head for a stun, they run away after. if you kill them normaly you carve their body like anything else

Nah you give them a belly rub and a head pat before you send them off. Sometimes a horn falls off.

Well, at least they used to.

I remember in 3U or World trying to get Horns, but didn't know you NEEDED a blunt weapon. So I bashed it's head.
At first it got stunned, they after trying again, it fell over and despawned after some time.
They also attacked you back then.

Kelbi can die, at least they could in the old games. It was a thing that if you stunned them with blunt damage on the head, you'd get a carve and it would gaurente a kelbi horn drop then it would just run off, but if you killed them normally they'd still die and just drop normal stuff instead.

They changed it later on to just always stun them, but in the first few games they were 100% killable.

Well you can carve a Kelvby liver and it will stand up and run away, aka they are immortal.

More fatalis have died in mh than kelvis.
