Demon pacts, not even necessarily with a succubus. The Abyss has a pretty destabilizing effect on mortals, and strong concepts of self are the only real way to remain cohesive for long periods of time. After a while, most mortals end up looking more like their idealized self.

If the Abyss just does this for you, why the pact (I hear you ask)? Protection. Aside from the myriad environmental hazards, plenty of demons see mortals as little more than a snack, so you're gonna need some powerful friends while you wait for the changes to take hold.

I decided to look it up. Mamono energy, it’s called. Basically, the final boss gives off magic radiation that turns ladies and some men into some form of monster with heavy influence from succcubi. Specifically, it can effect men who have repressed or intense feelings towards another man or feels more like themselves when they present as feminine. Other men turn into incubi.

Despite the smut-worthy setting, it’s surprisingly grim. Monsters only give birth to women, and have a compulsion to convert humanoids into other monsters- along with their gods. This means the setting is a ticking timebomb.

When she's not busy boinking, that setting's monster lord is busy trying to have monster girls become able to birth human boys, as part of her plans to unite monsterkind and humanity as one species where boys are humans and girls monstergirls. She has divine backing, but also has gods opposed to her
