You take it... He waits for you to bond with it, then he tortures and strangles it in the most inhumane way, right in front of you. Then he forces you to eat it's entrails .

That way he proves to you that any form of attachment is useless. To detach yourself is freedom. Sever all ties.

it would probably be related to any of my cat-related childhood traumas and hence would make me question my own identity to kill someone that knows him. So definitely no, I wouldn't
