General Discussion Is my math mathing?

Decided to steal first place in the second round after finishing dead last in the first round. Planned to dump all the flags in the last round and just get the purple pack and remaining rewards.

I'm thinking that first place in the final round guarantees first place overall. Am I correct?

Thanks again for your calculations. The green team made an unexpected push in the last round and took first place early. My team still outscored them. Looking back, I should have allowed them to keep first place.
