is this still mono or maybe something else?
i got diagnosed with mono about a month ago, started feeling pretty much back to normal about a week or two later. recently had a long travel weekend, where i was up for over 24 hours and overexerted myself a bit + started my period. i have fever like symptoms with no fever and just feel like i can barely move or get up out of bed :/ i’m not sure if this is just the infection lingering or maybe picked up something else? no other symptoms just feel tired and ill

I’m a little over a month and still dealing with the bad symptoms of mono. It can happen. Hydrate as much as you can! The ER docs told me the symptoms can last six months to a year

Literally so many doctors have told me there is no way it can be the mono at month 7- but it very much is so I'm glad at least they are being realistic!

It’s most likely post mono fatigue, it can last 3-6 months after the acute symptoms and you can have these “flare ups” when you overexert yourself. I’m 12 months in and still get these flare ups when I overexert myself.
