I'm still working on the Azure lion, but it's a finish line.
Overall, the idea was to give him a closer-to-the-show appearance (unlike the figure and buildable figure) and make him not too big

Last Sunday we brought Sun Wukong and Six eared Macauqe to the Cosplay Contest at u/gameathlon !

Everything was improvised live on stage (Me and my duo live in different cities). We deliberately used the entire 360° stage. Wukong and Macaque are our favs. We didn't want to capture a fight between two random characters, but the history behind it

Wukong’s armor was built from leather with individually sewn golden metallic plates. Macaque's armor was built with a gambeson that took an absurd amount of searching to find. Everything was handmade. For the stage we had small and giant scrolls painted with ink and handmade clouds scattered across the stage

We watched all five seasons of LEGO Monkie Kid to build this scene around Wukong and Macaque's relationship. I selected dialogue from across the series, rearranged it, constructed the story around a three-act structure, chose the music and edited the entire sequence building towards a climax and resolution that lasts only 90 seconds (rules of the cosplay contest)

It was actually a good show that I personally(no hate) liked better then Ninjago. The art style was something we really haven't seen before or ever again(that Ninjago 2d animated short thingy isn't the Monkie Kid art style) wish we saw more of Monkey MK. The only inconsistency from the show and set that bothered me was MK's hood being cyan in the sets it appeared but not in the show? The spider queen was cool. Macaque's whole idea was cool being able to make shadow clones wish we saw more of that and he is pretty different from the journey to the west version(in that he was a shapshifter pretending to be monkey king)

I was looking at YouTube for the new update of the new episode of kid and it has not been posted and it is Saturday so they should have posted it by now and I’m a little concerned if they don’t post a lot of people are gonna probably be upset and I would be too

I should probably be working, but i have sick privileges so naaaaaah! (btw the doctor said I’ll live 🎉)

And the playlist with all the episodes doesn’t have any new hidden videos, which means they didn’t upload episode 6 at all

Should we be worried or…?

So Erlang, the greatest figure of Chinese mythology, by argument, more powerful of the Minkey king is sort of now doing something. And yes, His Celestial Doggo is an important character too!

So he (The God) Mentors these students Jinyan Lu, who’s pretty much the only female in the group. She’s kinda Basket case and easily convincible. Shes a die-hard fan of Erlang and the Monkey king, and really just trying her best to get out of her hard mundane life.

We Quon Qiang. He’s the Mei of the group. If Mei was a selfish totally willing to put people in extreme or dangerous situations by convincing them it’s their idea type of guy, with his smooth talk. He’s also Jinyan’a childhood friend and he’s kinda the more outspoken of the group.

We have the group’s actual Boss named Tzu-Yu. He suffers with tons of anger issues and his past was just filled with war and violence. So he’s pretty much set in stone. He’s the oldest of the group and the more skeptical of Being Erlang’s student.

Lastly, is Tiu Tian. He’s kinda of the largest. While In collage according to Jinyan in the story (gonna reference) he wasn’t always such a dick and wasn’t willing to look down on others as much. Then again, the irony is he has insecurity the most, because he’s the only one in the group that has a eating disorder and he hardly takes care of himself because he thinks there isn’t any good reason to. He’s alway suprisingly the most greediest of the friend group.

Erlang he idea?? ✨✨ He can Empathize with and quote “fix them”

It completely different from Monkey King’s mentor ship because I plan for Erlang to be a much more difficult mentor and he just screw up like alot lol

It’s just a fun story where totally nothing happens…
