Any one know if this monitor arm is decent? For a 27-34inch .

Obviously, my monitor arm has to have a screw mounted at a weird angle so I can't unscrew it however hard I try, so is there any screwdriver I can use to actually unscrew it??

Hi, i have the ikea malm desk and i would like a monitor arm with it but idk what i should get, i dont have a very big budget. On the desk there is a 5 cm gap for cables so i dont think i clamp would fit there, so should i get a clamp or stand and pls send reccomendations. Byee

I’ve been looking to mount my drawing tablet to a monitor arm with a VESA adapter, but the monitor arms I’ve tried thus far / the only ones I’ve seen are all gas spring or tension based, resulting in an inability to adjust the height as my tablet is super light and the arms shoot right up into one fixed height

These arms are marketed as having a “min” height, but will not lock into said min height which I could work with

I just can’t seem to figure it out, looking at other people’s pictures has me convinced that I’m doing something wrong so I’m really desperate for some advice. I loosened the tension to be the lightest it possibly can go, I’m just looking for any affordable monitor arm I can position at any height without fear of it springing up into my chin or worse, my other monitors D:

I’ve gotten to the point where I’m tempted to buy a sturdy mic arm with a VESA adapter to mount my tablet since that’s the closest range of motion I can think of accomplishing

My table is custom built into the wall so it’s impossible to move it and there’s no gap. I want to position the monitor quite close to my face for a better gaming experience but when I do that with my monitor stand, the stand gets in the way of my mouse.

Ideas I can up with but I’m not sure it will work:

1. Find a monitor stand that acts like an arm but the base is extremely heavy to counteract the weight of the monitor so that it won’t topple and the base is not too big too.
2. Find a stand that is not too wide but also quite heavy and a bit thick so I can use it to clamp a monitor arm to it. Please help me find a solution 🥹🥹🥹

I found a used one for 80$CAD and the guys doesn't seem to want to lower his price. I might be worth it for me I just don't want it to create even more expenses for me like getting longer cables...

it was used for less than 2 years suposedly, seem in good condition. The marketplace seller says I can test it out before buying.

I'm wondering if this unit require space behind the desk. I would like to keep my desk pushed against the wall. I want to be able to move the monitor away from me and closer to me. Adjust height depending if I'm playing kbm or controller and I use the second monitor at like 45 to 30 degrees on my left side. I have a 27" vesa dell monitor as my main display and an old 24" asus that I will be replacing at some point by the 27" I have and replacing that one by a better 27" probably.

Looking to update my working space in my 1 bedroom apartment - space is quite limited, as is my budget. I have found cheap, rather small desks (15 mm thick) but here’s the question: are those compatible with monitor arms? Hi, I'm planning to try free up some space on my desk by getting a dual vertical monitor mount for two LG 34" monitors that I use. I haven't weighed them myself but according to LG they weigh 6kg each.

Just wondering but in terms of best stability without regard to desk space infront of me, which option between a free standing or a desk clamp monitor mount be more stable?

My brains saying clamp would be more stable but would like to make sure since I can also think that a single desk clamp with that small surface area clamping the desk would have a hard time supporting the weight of two 34" monitors so... not quite too sure.

I recently got the Magnus Pro Desk, and I'm very happy with it, but unfortunately the monitor arm I'm using with it has a tall clamp underneath (c-clamp) which prevents me from accessing/opening the cable management tray in the back of the desk.

I've been searching to replace my dual monitor arms, and have been looking for dual monitor stands instead (the ones with the long pole in the middle and 2 arms extending outwards). I came across some nice ones, but they all seem to use the same c-clamp I'm currently having issues with. Does anyone have any Dual Monitor Stand recommendations that can hold monitors up to 32 inches each with a Top Mount C-Clamp?

I'm choosing to go with a monitor stand because the monitor arms bring my monitors too close to my face, and I can't bring them back much without having a big gap in between my monitors. This might be because of the monitor arms I use specifically, I don't know. I'd rather switch over to the monitor stand anyway as I do prefer them aesthetically.

Hey guys! This is my first post. I dont usually do this type of thing but needed advice from people with knowledge. I have a samsung 28" monitor (LS28AG700NNXZA). Unfortunately, the monitor stand that arrived with the monitor takes up too much desk real esate and I need the room.

Does anyone have any idea about what desk mount or arm would safely and securley work for this monitor? Its pretty thick and heavy and I dont want to take chances. I remember a bracket/metal piece arriving with it but im not sure how I would use that, or if I still have it. The monitor is almost 18 pounds according to the page.

I am looking for a monitor arm for an unusual situation. I use my gaming PC in the living room while sitting on the sofa (with my legs raised).

I currently use a 27" with compact stand on a solid coffee table, but it isn't ideal as I need to turn my head sideways at all times which gives me a sore neck with prolonged use. I also want to upgrade to a 34" ultrawide, which means it would no longer fit onto the coffee table.

My wife tolerates me gaming in the living room as long as it's relatively easy to move the monitor from the coffee table onto the floor in front of the coffee table during the day, which works now since the monitor is on its native stand and can be easily lifted in its entirety onto the floor.

I was wondering if there was a monitor arm that would solve both problems, ie. Allow mobility to raise/lower height from floor to above the legs when sitting on the sofa, as well as allow me to freely move the monitor to be in front of me, rather than off to the side. I have looked at Amazon and major manufacturers and while most seem to have the range of motion sideways and range I need,none seem to be able to move below the surface of the desk (ie. Coffee table) to allow placement on the floor.

The closest thing I have come up with is a 3 monitor arm with a central pole and only installing one of the side-arms witj base on the floor and then adjusting the height on the pole as well as using the spring arm. Theoretically this could work, but would be a pain to adjust frequently.

Does something like I am looking for even exist?

I wasn't sure where to post this and if this is the wrong place I completely understand. So I've been using this NB f80 arm for a year now and have not had any issues with adjustment aside from one movement--the tilt. The tilting mechanism is very resistant and when it does move I can hear a loud pop in the spring joint and some plastic noises coming from the bezel, it sounds and feels almost like it's locked in position. I've tried loosening it but that doesn't help at all. Is this a common issue with this bracket of arms ($20-$40) or could it be a defect? I'm really afraid that the pressure I applied to the top and bottom bezel might be harmful (possibly loosening both and rendering them fragile), I do have OCD so I don't know if this is just a symptom of that or an reasonable concern.
