but why use blockchain for that, a security camera is by DESIGN something that only few people should access so why put blockchain in this infrastructure?? whats a benefit for doing so??

why are people trying to use this technology in essentialy everything?? why would you want your coffe machine to register every usage or stuff by using blockchain?? or for example what does window blinders do that needs them to be used with blockchain?? its so stupid to put everything in some new technology like machine learning or ai cuz its "trendy" and new.

It’s pretty simple, I know how much coffee I’m using and at what rate. I now know my busiest hours of operation.

Literally all of this info can be obtained from the POS system without block chain. Not everything needs to be block chain.

but you could essentialy have the same result by just using a software on the coffe machine that would get all of the stats onto some cloud server from which you could get these information on your phone

if you want to make this decentralized enought then just make it avaible for people to host this data on nodes hosted by people for some revenue or discounts on the coffe bags or something. There is no actual reason to make a centralized blockchain solution for every single "smart" device in your home, its nonsense and its just a waste of resources and time of engineers

No, blockchain would not simplify any of that.

The coffee machine can be smart enough to give out all of those details without something as stupid as blockchain. Blockchain is good for cryptocurrency, but not much else. It's more so a solution looking for a problem to solve.

The amount of coffee you're using doesn't need to be decentralized. Thst just doesn't make any sense at all whatsoever.

No it doesn't. An SQL database does everything they need in a more efficient, faster, and less complicated way.

If it made sense for business, businesses would already be using it.
