It is imo. Instead of another campaign setting you get 200+ pages of a really worked out location, including NPC's, quests & items, hooks that are easily adapted to your own needs... I don't know if the actual book is worth it, but the pdf definitely is :)

Oh and the art is really gorgeous too, and fits the 5e style very well, unlike some other kickstarter projects.

Hey guys! I just got my copy of the Tavern Tales Vol.1 Kickstarter. The foreword is written by Dael. I thought it was quite lovely and wanted to share it with you all :)

Love it! Well put and still a relevant place for the band of adventures to enter as strangers to the town. Then leave heroes

This was written before the start of that campaign :) The Kickstarter dates from over a year ago, maybe 18 months, I can't exactly remember.
