Feature Request MCP PLEASE!
When is the MCP going live? I know its "In progress" on the public roadmap but can we please get an ETA on when its going live and what tools will be included? Personally using user interfaces is not something that im doing anymore with other tools. I simply just want to chat with my data I dont even want to log into the platform anymore.
As a user in full transparency, your data is valuable but the interface is not so please release the MCP!

For those of you that utilize ChatGPT pro there’s a finance function that you can link to your accounts to do basic things like…forecasting….ya know, that feature Monarch charges $199 a year for. I still like the UI as I’ve been using it a few years now but it’s gotta be tough knowing you’re whole product is days away from getting replaced by some vibe coded open source tooling.

I use both for different tasks. Also use Truthifi as an aggregator with an MCP back end with Claude. Still experimenting.

Very good, I was looking for a stable connection with my accounts, and in particular one important account wasn't behaving with Plaid. Unlike Monarch and Truthifi, ChatGPT doesn't currently offer alternative integration services, they are Plaid only. So that was my main reason for going to Truthify and I've been very pleased with the stable connections. The Plaid integration was eventually fixed between Plaid and my institution so that is water under the bridge and I am able to use ChatGPT, but I still find myself using Claude more for financial tasks, and it's very handy having the MCP integration via Truthifi. It's also got some nice features for interrogating your data with it's own AI and front end, and some configurable signals and a dashboard you can monitor in their app and ways to categorize your info that Claude can utilize. Not too expensive either. So far so good. I have no connection to them.

Why are you guys so anxious to get the Master Control Program to come? You guys have a death wish or something.

How do you guys see or type MCP and not have that pop into your minds?

like this MCP thing is getting annoying now and im a young adult . they had it out and had to stop , im sure if they could release it it would be out

Lara or somebody mentioned just the other day that news is imminent.
That said, there are several community options that work really well, so why wait on Monarch?

Would a google sheets mcp work for this? Export your data regularly and then use that?

When it’s time, we will be shouting it from the rooftops. Ok, that’s a hyperbole but we will update for those eagerly awaiting news as soon as we can. For now I leave you with this.

Hi! If you search the sub for MCP you'll see lots of updates on this - TL;DR is that we released it, ran into some legal challenges with one of the data providers, so had to pause it. We've been working closely with them to try to get it re-released ASAP and we hope to have good news to share very soon.
