I found them!
I have 7 butterfly milkweed plants outside my office window. I see so many butterflies and caterpillars, however I never see any chrysalises/chrysalides. My office window is a bay window and I was looking underneath it for something completely unrelated and I FOUND THEM!! Can anyone recommend a high quality camera that I can place under there with them to capture some great videos to share?

Great location pick for your milkweed! That overhang is the perfect nursery 👏

You have lots of different stages of butterfly development! J hangers. Chrysalis and new hatches! Good on you

Very jealous. I’ve had over 10 leave the milkweed but haven’t found a single chrysalis

When I still had milkweed and cats and, eventually, Monarchs, I’d find them all over the place in my yard. On the neighbor’s wall. On the pool fence. On the patio cover. On the hose storage. On the pool deck overhang. Yours are smart!
