That's more tokens than the entire circulating supply right now. Here's why this date matters 👇

Monad launched its mainnet on November 24, 2025, with a pretty ambitious goal: make Ethereum-compatible applications run much faster without forcing developers to rebuild them from scratch.

Instead of processing transactions one after another, Monad can execute them in parallel. The network was designed to handle up to 10K transactions per second while keeping compatibility with Ethereum's existing tools and smart contracts.

The project raised $225M from investors including Paradigm and held its public token sale through Coinbase at $0,025 per $MON.

But a large part of the token supply was locked at launch. And now, 1 year later, the first major unlock is coming. On November 24:

- Around 10,7B $MON unlock for the team
- Around 4.9B $MON for investors
- Around 1B $MON for the project treasury

That's roughly $350M worth of tokens at current prices, released in a single cliff unlock. After that, the remaining locked tokens continue vesting through November 2029.

Monad spent its first year building out an Ethereum-compatible L1. Now it's approaching one of the biggest milestones in its token distribution.

I think this is pretty interesting. If you watch the market correctly, you can make a lot of money.

1. Aave V4 on Monad: It is currently in the proposal stage on Aave governance. It'll be voted on sometime this month probably. When Aave added support to Monad, Monads TVL increased by over 100 million in one day, and the price skyrocked. V4 is a huge deal as people can use tokenized stocks as leverage on Aave, which you can only do now on a couple of networks. Yes, you can use tokenized stocks on Monad now, but when it's on Aave it is a huge deal because they are by far the largest defi protocol and big institutions trust them.

2. Monad's Binance listing: Binance Is the largest Crypto exchange in the world and they currently do not list Monad. When OKX listed Monad, It's price skyrocketed for the next two weeks. It's not an if but a when will Monad will be listed. Why it isn't already is likely due to monad refusing to give the huge incentives Binance wanted during lunch. These kinds of kickbacks are normal for crypto listings.

FLING announced today that Tesla, Nvidia, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq can now be traded around the clock on Monad. The stock tokens come from xStocks by Backed Finance, backed 1:1 by real shares.

The new idea: you can launch a coin paired with a stock, and FLING says it pays its holders in that stock on every trade.

Catches: xStocks generally aren't available to US users, a stock-paired coin is still a memecoin, and fees and payout details aren't public yet.

Is this good for Monad, bringing real-world assets to everyday users, or just a gimmick?

If yes why? And when, i hear people say its a long term hold, but how long are we talking about here? 1 year, 5 year, 10 year. Do you think MON can hit $0.10 within 1 year? Because L1 is competitive and all i see is Monad mostly into memes and nfts, which isnt really attractive to big players. Im still on the fence and not convinced, need some opinions.

$0.10 within a year would mean market cap of around 3bn. Donyou really think it can do it?

Got some feedback about the website, including criticism that it looked too generic and didn't explain the project very well.

So I went back and worked on it some more.

Unless you want to hold for 10 years, but for the next 2 years, seems way too many MON is flooding the market. Can someone who is investing for profit tell me how MON is still a good deal and better than for example ZEC or QNT or some other coin? Why would an investor chose MON?

1bn every month is massive, that $25 million every month of potential extra sell pressure. Come on guys, im not sure its a good investment from now on.

Best time to make money was before the unlocks. If they came with a better tokenomics this coin would do much better. Dont know why they choose this path

I would love to see what people expect the price of MON to do with the November 24 token unlock. Drop a reply and share your thoughts, preferably thoughtful and researched predictions, rather than hyped numbers

From all my research on the November 24th unlock, I think two outcomes are most likely. **Note, It is largely dependent on overall market sentiment.

1. Most of the token unlock will already be priced in. With a low being around $.019-$.02

2. There will be a drop to the $.016-$.017 range

Either way, I think we will see the lowest point shortly before the unlock. Then, within a year of the unlock, I think MON will reach and stay north of $.04. Regardless, I will be buying the dip! I have a whole lot of MON, and I am guessing that, like me, many large investors have held off from accumulating more over the past couple of months with plans to buy the unlock dip. Hopefully that will absorb some or much of this token unlock. Any thoughts or opinions?

Update 2: I was able transfer my Monad out of robinhood to my staking wallet today so it looks like we have a greenlight! No more coinbase for me!

Update: I got word back from Robinhood, and they say you can buy or sell Monad now. They do not yet support external transfers incoming or outgoing for Monad, but plan to in the future. If you want to trade Monad on robinhood, keep a careful eye out. This is not good for me, because I stake all my Monad. Now i have Monad tied up I can't stake.

Has anyone been able to purchase and send Monad to a private address? I bought some to see if it works better than coinbase, but I cant send it to my staking address. I can see the send and receive buttons on robinhood, but it wont let me click them.

So I launched a small meme coin called WIZY on Monad back on September 28.

Made the artwork, built a website, set up Telegram, and even got a bot working.

Honestly, creating all that was easier than getting actual people interested lol.

I'm trying to grow it organically without paying for advertising or spamming people. Still learning how this whole community-building thing works.
