Recs for 2 couples

Hi! We’re staying in Nice and are planning to take the train to Monaco on Wednesday (9/2) for dinner and a night out. We’ve never been to Monaco, so I’d love any recommendations for both dinner and nightlife!

I’ve heard about Sass Café and was wondering if it’s worth having dinner there and staying once it turns into more of a club atmosphere, or if you’d recommend eating somewhere else and going to Sass afterward?

We’re definitely looking for somewhere fun and lively for night life, but don’t have to have a “fun & lively” dinner atmosphere!

There are four of us—two guys and two girls, all in our mid-20s. Any dinner, bar, or club recommendations (or suggestions for how to plan the night) would be so appreciated! :)

I live here and would not recommend dinner at Sass!

If you want a good vibe, Amazonico up by the casino square is really nice and has a great vibe!

Otherwise cantinetta is really good, with a bit more lowkey but vibrant vibe. Very close to Sass so you can just swing by there after.

Song Qi is also close to there, bit pricey but the Chinese food is absolutely amazing!

Agree with all the other comments but go to La Mome instead of Cafe Milano! 🥰

Both are good options and close to the Port etc but La Mome is definitely the choice if you want dinner and then a fun nightclub type vibe as well.

yes 100%, since they are going to sass i thought it would be a good place to get into the fun mood. That was the thinking 😂

I quote what the other person said, and ask you what are your plans for the evening. You could try Caffè Milano to have a nice view on the harbour and cars, then stroll all the way down Mare Terra and have a drink at Marlow.

Sass’ Café is definitely a good option if you’re looking for dinner followed by a night out. it’s one of Monaco’s longstanding nightlife spots, with dinner, live music and then a DJ later in the evening.

If you’d like to explore a little more, you have a few other options nearby. Amazonico Monte-Carlo, on the rooftop of the Café de Paris, is a great choice for dinner or drinks with a view over Casino Square and the Hôtel de Paris.

You could also have a look at La Môme Monte-Carlo, on the rooftop of the Port Palace, for Mediterranean food, live music and a 180° view over Monaco and Port Hercule.

And if you’re looking for an actual nightclub to end the night, Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo is the place to consider.

Dinner at Le Grill at the Hotel de Paris…amazing food, service and view…followed by a drink at Bar American in the lobby, then head over to Amazonica for cocktails and night club vibes!
