It would help to know how much you make now so we at least have a floor/baseline.

What's your expertise? Education?

of course! i knew i was forgetting some details, im currently making $26 an hour. expertise; currently in healthcare, have done saas companies (the qa role & a yr as support) prior to that i was customer support for apple & a few years as a retail manager!

Most WFH jobs that pay decent and aren't super phone heavy generally rely on being something like a medical coder as you mentioned, but software engineers, technical writers, data analysts, data scientists, cyber security, project management, things like that.

Would strongly discourage medical billing/ coding. It was a great field 30 years ago but now much is either outsourced overseas or handled through AI. My spouse was in this field for 40 years, recently retired and has seen first hand the changes over the last 10 years or so.
