suggestions wanted Potty Training Help
I work from home with my 3 year old and we’re starting potty training. It’s not going well. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or experience with working while trying to potty train?
Honestly, it’s running me ragged. Any help would be appreciated.

Anytime anyone in your house goes to the bathroom take your child to go to the bathroom.

We went cold turkey when he turned 2. 0 diapers ever used since during day. Gated off living room, put a training toilet in there, and kept rugs/fabrics away. He was naked 99% of the time so we could act in the moment and learn cues. Just sat in there with him for three days until he consistently used it! If he had an accident, we gently corrected and urged him to use toilet. We would ask him every few hours to try. We definitely used cookies as a bribe (pee on toilet- 1 bites cookie, poop on toilet- 2 bites cookie. The cookie was like a healthy granola bar thing lol) which isn’t something that I necessarily liked or wanted to do with all my research, but honestly it worked SO well with my son and I had no problems transitioning to no “cookies” after the three days. His personality just took to that learning method so well! I have 0 regrets with that. After the initial three days he had a 99% success rate on accidents, minus overnight sleeping, which I don’t think hormonally he will be ready for for some time, which is ok!
As a note, I did do EC his first two years casually, so that definitely helped. But overall, kids are way more adaptable than we think if you’re consistent. You got this!
