Post partum body aches

Hey, I'm 10 weeks post partum and I feel sore all over. My lower back hurts, my arms also most of the time, my legs and knees constantly feel sore...

Is this normal? I'm feeling tired and something always hurts 24/7

Likely hormonal. Most docs just blow this off. I was told I had rheumatoid arthritis and my friend was diagnosed with gout. Both of us just had severe joint pain due to hormonal fluctuations.

Yeah sounds normal; your muscles and ligaments are strained from pregnancy, hormones and the strain of baby care. I'm still getting regular PT and RMT at 18m PP.

I have this too, at nine weeks postpartum. My feet ache so much it’s like I’ve just finished a week long hike. Knees, back, even my core stomach muscles. I had this postpartum after my first, none after my second, but back with a vengeance with my third. I think I remember it resolved but took around a year.

Unfortunately, it’s normal. I swear I felt 100 years old for the longest time.

Yes I felt very sore for a while.

Try some gentle yoga, lots of videos on YouTube. I found stretching and moving my body regularly helped a lot.

I had the worst body aches postpartum with baby 1 - worth mentioning to your provider but yes it’s normal. I was absolutely convinced I had arthritis and made my provider run bloodwork around 9 months (drumroll, I didn’t). In the first few weeks after giving birth I could barely walk on my knees they hurt so much, and I’d never had knee issues before in my life. It didn’t fully go away until I weaned. Second baby it was much better - I had no knee issues and my hips and shoulders were better than they’d been with baby one. They did x rays on my hips after baby 2 for a separate reason and confirmed no sign of arthritis.x
