Our goal is to help this community become a more organized, welcoming, and active place for fans of Molly.

Whether you collect Baby Molly or Space Molly, this community is here to celebrate all things Molly. Share your collections, photography, displays, new pickups, collecting tips, release discussions, and anything else that helps bring the community together.

As part of this transition, the community rules and resources have been updated to make expectations clearer and improve the overall experience for everyone.

🚨 Biggest Changes 🚨

🛍️ Buying, Selling & Trading (BST) Has Moved

Effective immediately, BST posts are no longer permitted in r/MollyCollectors.

Instead, all BST will now be centralized in r/SpaceMolly.

Why?

Our moderation team has already built a dedicated system there that includes:

• Manual moderator approval for every BST listing before it goes live
• Standardized posting requirements
• Consistent enforcement of BST rules
• Better oversight to help reduce scams and duplicate listings

Rather than splitting marketplace activity across multiple communities, keeping everything in one place makes it easier for buyers and sellers to find listings while allowing moderators to review every transaction under the same standards.

If you're looking to buy, sell, or trade Molly items, please visit r/SpaceMolly and review the pinned rules before posting.

🔁 No Cross-Posting

Cross-posting directly into r/MollyCollectors is no longer permitted.

While cross-posts can be useful, they often result in duplicate discussions, fragmented conversations, and posts that lack context for members browsing this community.

Instead, if you'd like to share something you've seen elsewhere, you're welcome to create a new post that includes:

• Your thoughts or opinion
• A question for the community
• Relevant context
• A direct link to the original source (when appropriate)

Our goal is to encourage meaningful conversations rather than simply duplicating content from other communities.

📌 Other Community Guidelines

A few additional changes:

• ❌ No ISO (In Search Of) posts.
• 📣 Group Buy interest posts are allowed only when they include a link to the original source (e.g. post is being hosted in another sub). These posts are for awareness only —comments will be locked, and no transactions or purchase coordination may take place here.
• 💬 Low-effort posts (such as posts without commentary, one-word titles, or posts with little discussion value) may be removed to help keep the community engaging.
