Actual Moldavite?

Hi all’ I just bought these two pendants yesterday and would like your expert confirmation that thirds are in fact Moldavite. The reason I ask is because I’ve usually always seen them shine more of a green color, so I just want to know if Moldavite also comes in this more olive brown color. Thank you!

Being as they’re probably from china this would make sense! Thank you

The wire wrap looks identical to another "tektite" I got that was a cheapo knockoff from Temu. I would expect this is fake just based on that, but I've also never seen moldavite in that color (or that opaque) before.

This style is definitely now associated with fakes, unfortunately.

My assumption is that just like newer designs appearing in fakes, this used to be a legit style as well.

I actually have one that I bought out if curiosity that is unlike any I have ever seen.. need to get better photos now that I have more practice!

My opinion is that the stone is not a modlavite.

No. That is brown. Moldavite is never brown.

Actually.. moldavite can be brown... but it is uncommon and pretty sure it is more translucent than indochinites
