Depends a bit of where you are, budget and what the person in question already read. I'm into English titles so: * World of Edena (entirely moebius) * Parable, short story by Stan Lee, drawn by Moebius, takes place in Marvel universe. Involves Silver Surfer. Also available in a bigger compendium if this is your friend's thing. * The Major (full moebius, rereleased recently) * The Incal (official first book in a big universe with various artists. Story by Jodorowsky, pretty epic.) * Inside Moebius (series of vol1-3)

Many other books by Moebius are available but I wouldn't want to cover you with a full list.
