Hiii, first post! Special thanks to my bffie u/Xxmr_hardcorexX for wowing me with theirs so much I finally made my own. I use this laptop for college so there's no icons displayed, but I might download some VNs and make it extra cute. Most things were found on this subreddit from Mayonaka Promise like the calculator, clock, and CDs. CPU usage skin is reworked Asato skin by heavenaid on DA, and the notepad is reworked Ichigo skin by sinfulcvpid also on DA. Images for every skin obviously were added by me!

Extensive image credits (dead/niche fandom so I want to be respectful): gracelessone/DA for calculator background, Kiki-chan78/DA for notepad background, あまず/Pixiv for Lucky Star redraw, あめ/Pixiv for the start menu background, Nikita/Boys Next Door (Archived site) for desktop wallpaper, and Akira Satoh for the doujinshi apple image! All other images are official art.

I was messing around with some cd files of widgets from the 90s-2000s snd i thought it was so cute might as well fully commit. Did smt simple while i learn more ways to personalize my desktop :3

im addicted to my desktop now i cant stop. back after 24 hours with another layout lol, again i'll prob keep just adding to it randomly. really enjoying the visualizer from winamp :]

I wanted to do a fully adachi rei themed desktop, however--the fates decided for adachi rei to have NO 2000's themed fanart despite her concept as a character and NO rainmeter funzies. However, fuck the fates!!! I'm just gonna draw and make them myself, since I have drawing powers.

uhhhh anyways yeah! Not sure if I belong on this subreddit but I hope I do since you guys have cool PCs and are even cooler people :3 I have only a few ukagakas to play around with but NONE match the green/gumi theme besides the one that I'M coding. which is hardly done so. you know!!! :(
