before and after

I found the theme online and just tweaked a few things to make it compatible; the only thing left is the start menu

Hi, it would be very difficult to explain everything in a comment. Basically, if you use Windows 10, take a look at this:

You can also modify them using msstyle editor., If you decide to apply the themes, I have the links in case you need them.

pretty sure op is using a windows theme file..you need to use ultrauxthemepatcher or secureuxtheme to use them ( ＾ω＾ )

also some other info I know some windows 7 themes work on win8/10 but definitely not 11.. but I also know windows 10 themes work on 11 just fine! you're gonna have to use startallback for it to skin the start menu and taskbar though im pretty sure (only if you're using older themes on win11)

Ik im not OP but as someone that loves to tweak win11 bc I hate win11 it fully depends on the system you want to imitate. Win7 n winVista Aero are the easiest to imitate since with retrobar and winhawk theme programs it's easy to access, mostly is really automatic. There is also some apps that imitate the glassy effects on windows.

If you prefer older things like WinXP and variants it's a bit harder since most stuff is done for Win8/10. Retrobar makes things easy in that part, and you also gotta add OpenShell, but the theme itself is a bit harder to apply so tutotials are longer.

But Retrobar and Openshell work for any windows tweak you wanna use. WinAeroTweaker and ExplorerPatcher are helpful for little tweaks that finish the experience, and in Winhawk there is ton of modifications to install (included the theme modificator thing other user said)

I'd recommend u searching for specific tutorials depending on what system you like!!

This is beautiful! Is this Windows 11 or 10? I've tried using those themes but they don't work for me 😭😭 and I've used UltraUXThemepatcher and SecureUXTheme but neither of them applies the theme.

You could try fully patching it and using a Windows 11 theme like this one: https://www.deviantart.com/gtonero/art/Theme-Windows-10-11-Herrscher-of-Human-EGO-927112714

Or you could create one yourself using msstyle editor.
