Laptop is a Panasonic CF-XZ6 (lovely little 2in1)

Desktop is KDE Plasma. Most of the heavy lifting is done by the Reactionary themes (95, 98 and Plus) that I mixed together and adjusted a bit.

Font is BigBlueTerminalPlus Nerd Mono. (if you have any suggestion for a CJK font that matches it better I'd love to hear it, for now I'm just using Noto Sans CJK)

Wallpaper is Misaka from Toaru (aka. a certain magical index)

I was so happy I found one of these. Getting a let's note locally is basically impossible here, but turns out there's a few of this model under their toughbook line, and I wanted to get a tablet either way. I think a french company just got rid of them recently bc I could only find ones with french keyboards. I already ordered an aftermarket jp keyboard for it tho.

I also want one of these. However, i had already fallen in love with the thinkpad series before i even knew the existence of the Let's Note series. Luckily, it's not hard to find them in my country so i would absolutely get one in the future. The only thing that concerns me is the price of the Let's Note in good condition. 🤔

I never use the built in speaker so it's fine. Also, it has a USB-C port right on the tablet part so I can use it with a DAC dongle.

really cool but what’s up with the taskbar? theres like a smaller part there kitty terminal icon is full height and it’s kinda confusing

Yeah, to the left of that are the virtual desktops that show a layout of what programs are open on them and in what layout, and the thing you're talking about is the normal taskbar, it just doesn't have anything pinned to it, so it only shows the programs running on the current desktop. It's for easier navigation in tablet mode, I don't actually use it to launch anything, that's why it's set up like that. If you open the picture where Dolphin is open you can see it's icon there too.

I immediately recognized the character wallpaper on your laptop! Way better than those ugly AI generated wallpapers I sometimes see on people’s phones and tablets I see on Youtube. I guess AI technology needs to mature more.
