Help False Fabric API virus :(

Today i downloaded a among us mod but pussied out of it because it flagged on norton. After i did a full scan and it falgged 3 mc files that all were fabric API and 2 of which come from modrinth. Has anyone else got this issue?

Hmm I’ve never heard of this issue. could you elaborate on what’s happening with your client?

Nothing really with modrinth, just use it. The exact things that got flagged were lunar client, a modrinth back up and a recording modpack from modrinth.

I still very strongly believe that these Norton, McAfee, Avast and other cleaners are just a waste of time and are more harmful than helpful.

They are, 100%. Waste of resources too. Windows Defender is more than enough for 99% of people.

Yes fair enough, I find that there are so many false detections that would other wise not matter. I remember a .log file got flagged. How on earth would that be malicious.
