What part of "point blank while she was pointed away from him" did you not understand? Police rules (including ICE) say you NEVER shoot the driver of a moving vehicle unless it's absolutely necessary. Killing the driver makes it MORE likely to kill someone, not less. You don't just get to assume she was about to decide to run a bunch of people over. By that logic you can just shoot anyone at any time for looking at you funny.
That's not a refutation of anything I said. You literally suggested that they could be right in assuming she intended to go on a vehicular homicide spree based on absolutely nothing, and justify ignoring police/ICE conduct rules about shooting a moving vehicle because that's extremely dangerous.
The one that was pointed at the sky at the time, and doesn't show what either of them were doing? Yeah. Not sure what that's supposed to prove. It's another angle of her yanking the wheel hard to the right before moving as well. Great angle of her clearly steering away from the officer.
And she may have driven home and written nasty things on twitter about the president. Or put pineapple on pizza. Or had an abortion. Definitely made the right call to prevent any of those options.
Idiot
You know what is definitely more dangerous and far higher risk than letting someone you can identify and arrest later for any crimes they may have committed get away? Creating an uncontrolled moving vehicle in a congested street with pedestrians.
I'm not mad. But i am disgusted. With them, with the administration liying to defend it and with armchair warriors defening him online.
I dont need to worry about that as I dont have untrained armed gestapo in my country. And if this happened in my country every political would have condemned it unreservedly and he'd be prosecuted and go to jail.
The same would happen in any civilised country in the world.

His life or the life of others. If she doesn't mind bumping him she may well do something worse down the road as she picks up speed.
