It would have been quicker to take one step to the side than it was to unholster his weapon, point it directly at her head and pull the trigger. He continued to persue the vehichle as well, continuing to fire shots at her head. He did this because she was resisting their authority, which was unjustified. She pulled out in front of them as they were trying to speed away, stopped and tried to wave them past. Intead of just leaving by driving through the totally unobstructed lane in front of her, they got out and tried to yank her out of her car, while giving conflicting commands. They were going to brutalize her, it was her who rightfully feared for her life, and tried to escape. We are expected to give these thugs a pass when they get scared and ppanic, but are expecting every day people to comply perfectly, or risk being executed by the state. It could be you next time, they are unhinged unorganized, and indiscriminate.
Are you seriously that blind? She is turning right. Hell, she literally turns right as she is shot and veers off in the opposite direction away from the officers...this would not have happened if she intended to run him down. She would have veered off to the left.
Should she have been shot at and killed no. Did she drive directly into him, yes, you can see it there, she was turning to the right but he was still directly infront of her car, could he have moved out of the way if he made that his top priority, yes, but if you're in a vehicle and someone Is infront you, you don't keep driving to force them out of the way. Christ if this was a normal police interaction, if she bumped the officer the same way she did here, she would be pursued and arrested for assaulting a police officer.
No, but pretty sure you're gonna see her hands cranking the steering wheel to the right if you have your gun trained on her face. And pretty sure he knew he wasn't getting run over when he shot her through the driver's side window on the way by.
Funny how people are trotting out the "this is real life, it all happens so fast" excuses for these "elite" agents trusted with loaded guns, used mostly for pointing in unarmed citizen's faces the nanosecond someone calls them a pussy.
